Xintiandi

Xintiandi is a downtown tourist attraction that keeps the distinctive flavor of old Shanghai. Xintiandi is located in the center of Luwan district, bounded by south Huangpi road on the east, Madang road on the west, Zizhong road on the south, Taicang road on the north. Xintiandi occupies a ground space of 30,000 square meters and has a total floor area of 60,000 square meters.

Its construction started at the beginning of 1999 and was completed in June 2007. Now it has become a entertainment plaza. Xintiandi is divided into north and south areas. The north area consists of several Shikumen buildings for entertainment and catering, and the south area features a modern architectural structure with glass curtain wall.
